ওয়েব ডেস্ক : ১ ডিসেম্বর থেকে মেঘালয়ের শিলংয়ে শুরু হবে হিল ফেস্টিভ্যাল বা পার্বত্য উৎসব।এই উৎসবে মেঘালয়ের লোকসঙ্গীত এবং মনোরম খাদ্য সম্ভার-সহ সমৃদ্ধ সাংস্কৃতিক বৈচিত্রকে তুলে ধরা হবে। উম্বি গ্রামের উমিয়াম হ্রদের অপরূপ প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশে এই উৎসবের প্রস্তুতি শুরু হয়েছে। মেঘালয় পর্যটন দফতরের সহযোগিতায় এই উৎসবের আয়োজন করছে এইচ ওআই পি ই বা হেল্পিং ইয়াং পিপল এন্টারটেইনমেন্ট।
জানা গিয়েছে, সঙ্গীতপ্রেমীদের জন্য পার্বত্য উৎসব একটি আদর্শ উৎসব হয়ে উঠতে চলেছে।এবছর মেঘালয়-সহ অন্যান্য অঞ্চলের সমসাময়িক সঙ্গীতের পাশাপাশি ঐতিহ্যবাহী সঙ্গীতের প্রতি উৎসর্গ করা হবে এই উৎসব। পাশাপাশি, এবার এই উৎসবে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের এবং দর্শনার্থীদের জয়ন্তিয়া খাবারের স্বাদ গ্রহণের অনুমতি দেওয়া হবে। তাই মেঘালয়ের খাঁটি ও সুস্বাদু খাবারের স্বাদ গ্রহণের জন্য পর্যটকদের আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়েছে এই উৎসব। দুজন স্থানীয় রাঁধুনি (শেফ) হাজির থেকে সাড়া বিশ্বের কাছে তাদের বন্য এবং অনাবিষ্কৃত খাবারের স্বাদ নেওয়ার সুযোগকে নিশ্চিত করবে বলেও খবর।
এছাড়াও যারা শুয়োরের মাংস খেতে ভালোবাসেন, তাঁদের জন্য একটি অংশও থাকবে উৎসবে। যেখানে স্থানীয় শেফদের তৈরি সেরা শুয়োরের মাংসের সুস্বাদু খাবার নিয়ে একটি প্রতিযোগিতাও হবে।শহুরে কোলাহল থেকে দূরে উম্বির গ্রামের উমিয়াম হ্রদ এলাকায় প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যে নিজেকে ডুবিয়ে অনাবিল আনন্দ উপভোগ করতে পারবেন পর্যটকরা। পাশাপাশি প্রতিভাবান সংগীতশিল্পী, শিল্পী,কারিগর এবং রন্ধন বিশেষজ্ঞদের দক্ষতা প্রত্যক্ষ করার সুযোগও পাবেন। পর্যটকদের জন্য তাঁবুর ব্যবস্থাও থাকবে। তাঁবুতে দুই রাত কাটাতে পারবেন এবং প্রাণবন্ত সঙ্গীত উপভোগ করতে পারবেন।

It is also reported that two local chefs will make an appearance to ensure the world gets to taste their wild and undiscovered cuisine.
The festival will also have a section for those who love to eat pork. Where there will also be a competition with the best pork delicacies prepared by local chefs. Away from the urban noise, tourists can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Umiam Lake area of Umbir village and enjoy the pleasure.
