ওয়েব ডেস্ক : সবুজ শান্ত পরিবেশে রঙের উৎসব উদযাপন করুন। দোলের ছুটিতে ঘুরে আসুন আমাদপুরে। এই রাজ্যের নানা প্রান্তে ধুমধাম করে পালিত হয় দোল উৎসব। নবদ্বীপ, মায়াপুর এবং শান্তিপুর ছাড়াও বৈষ্ণব ধর্মের প্রভাব যেসব অঞ্চলে রয়েছে সেখানে মহাসমারোহে দোল উৎসব উদযাপিত হয়। বলা যায়, নবদ্বীপ, মায়াপুর ও শান্তিপুরের দোল উৎসব মথুরা-বৃন্দাবনের চেয়ে কোনও অংশে কম নয়। পাশাপাশি বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর প্রবর্তিত শান্তিনিকেতনের বসন্ত উৎসব দোল উৎসবকে এক অন্য মাত্রা দিয়েছে বললে ভুল হবে না। এখন বাংলা ক্যালেন্ডার অনুযায়ী ফাল্গুন-চৈত্রের এই উৎসবকে কেন্দ্র করে রাজ্যের নানা প্রান্তে সংগঠিত হয় বসন্ত উৎসব। আয়োজিত হয় রঙবেরঙের সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান। আবির খেলায় রঙিন হয়ে আনন্দে মেতে ওঠেন বিভিন্ন বয়সের মানুষ। পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলার শান্ত গ্রাম আমাদপুরের জমিদারবাড়ি চৌধুরি বাড়িতেও বিভিন্ন প্রথা মেনে পালিত হয় দোল উৎসব। এই উৎসবে যোগ দেন স্থানীয় বিপুলসংখ্যক মানুষ। পাশাপাশি এই উৎসবের শরিক হন পর্যটকরাও।
দোলের প্রাক্কালে আমাদপুরে চৌধুরী বাড়ির সামনে দোল মঞ্চে লক্ষ্মী জনার্দন শালিগ্রাম শিলা স্থাপনের মাধ্যমে দোল উৎসব উদযাপনের সূচনা হয়। আমাদপুরের দোল মঞ্চটি একটি বিশাল দিঘির পাড়ে অবস্থিত। শালিগ্রাম শিলা স্থাপনের পর দিঘির দিকে যাওয়ার সিঁড়িতে ন্যাড়াপোড়া বা চাঁচর পোড়ানো হয়। রাধা-মাধব মন্দিরে শালিগ্রাম শিলা ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার মধ্য দিয়ে দিনটি শেষ হয়। চৌধুরিদের পারিবারিক দেবতা হলো রাধা-মাধব। রাধা-মাধবের অবস্থান নদীর কাছাকাছি একটি প্রাচীন পোড়ামাটির মন্দিরে। দোলযাত্রার দিন ভোরবেলা নিত্যপুজোর পর শোভাযাত্রা করে রাধা-মাধবকে দোল মঞ্চে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। এখানে বেশ কয়েকটি আচার অনুষ্ঠান হয়। এর মধ্যে একটি হল ‘দেব দোল’। মানুষের বিশ্বাস, দেবতারা নিজেদের মধ্যে ‘আবির’ খেলেন। দেবদোলের পর চৌধুরি পরিবারের সদস্যরা এবং স্থানীয় লোকজন দেবতার পায়ে আবির দেন। এরপর নিজেদের মধ্যে আবির খেলেন। এভাবেই উৎসবের আনুষ্ঠানিক সূচনা হয়। যদিও দোলমঞ্চের আশেপাশে রঙ খেলার তেমন কোনও উচ্ছ্বাস দেখা যায় না।
দোল উৎসব ছাড়াও আর কি দেখবেন :-
প্রকৃত অর্থে গ্রামবাংলার অন্য কোনও গ্রাম থেকে খুব আলাদা নয় আমাদপুর। ছোট-বড়ো পুকুর, তাল, নারকেল, খেজুর গাছের সারি, বিস্তীর্ণ আমের বাগান, বিস্তৃত ধানক্ষেত, সবুজ পরিবেশে প্রায় ৪০০ বছরের পুরনো চৌধুরিদের বসতবাড়ি। রাধামাধবজি মন্দির (চমৎকার পোড়ামাটির কাজ), আনন্দময়ী কালীমাতার মন্দির, পোড়ামাটির শিবমন্দির, দীঘি, রথ, দুর্গাবাড়ি, ব্যাগ বাড়ি বা মুখার্জি বাড়ি (চূর্ণ- বিচূর্ণ কিন্তু দেখার মতো চমৎকার প্রাসাদ বাড়ি), ১০০ বছরের পুরনো বটগাছ-সহ সাধুবাড়ি আশ্রম, বড়ো কালী, মেজো কালী, খ্যাপা কালী মন্দির, বনগ্রাম আশ্রম, সাঁওতাল গ্রাম, উপজাতি নৃত্য এবং আরো অনেক কিছু।
কিভাবে যাবেন :-
কলকাতা থেকে আমাদপুরের দূরত্ব প্রায় ১০০ কিলোমিটার । সড়কপথে পৌঁছাতে প্রায় দুই ঘন্টা সময় লাগে। আপনি হাওড়া রেলস্টেশন থেকে মেমারি যাওয়ার ট্রেনেও যেতে পারেন। মেমারি স্টেশন থেকে একটি অটোরিকশা বা টোটো করে পৌঁছে যেতে পারবেন আমাদপুর।

দোল উৎসব ছাড়াও রথযাত্রা, দুর্গাপুজো, কালীপুজোর মতো উৎসবের সময় এবং শীতকাল।

চৌধুরি বাড়িতেই রয়েছে হেরিটেজ হোমস্টে (বৈঠকখানা আমাদপুর)। শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত কক্ষ পাবেন। রাজকীয় ঘর এবং আধুনিক আসবাবপত্র দিয়ে সজ্জিত। সেই সঙ্গে অ্যাটাচ বাথ রয়েছে। মনোরম খাবার পাবেন। রুম বুকিং আগে থেকে করতে হবে।

Apart from Nabadwip, Mayapur and Shantipur, the Dol Utsav is celebrated in Mahasamarohe in the areas where Vaishnavism influence prevails. It can be said that the Dol Utsav of Nabadwip, Mayapur and Shantipur is no less than Mathura-Brindaban. Besides, it would not be wrong to say that the spring festival of Santiniketan, introduced by the universal poet Rabindranath Tagore, has given another dimension to the Dol festival. Now according to the Bengali calendar, spring festivals are organized in different parts of the state based on this festival of Falgun-Chaitra. Colorful cultural programs are organized. People of different ages enjoy playing Abi colorfully. Dol Utsav is also celebrated in the house of Zamindarbari Chowdhury in the quiet village of Amadpur in East Burdwan district. A large number of local people participate in this festival. Tourists also participate in this festival.
On the eve of Dol, the celebration of Dol Utsav begins with the installation of the Lakshmi Janardan Shaligram Shila on the dol stage in front of the Chowdhury house in Amadpur. Amadpur’s Dol Manch is situated on the banks of a huge lake. After placing the Shaligram Shila, the Narapora or Chanchar is burnt on the stairs leading to the Dighi. The day ends with taking the Shaligram Shila back to the Radha-Madhav temple. The family deities of the Chaudhuris are Radha-Madhava. Radha-Madhava is located in an ancient terracotta temple near the river. On the day of Dola Yatra, Radha-Madhava is taken to the Dola Manch in a procession after Nitya Puja. Several rituals are performed here. One of these is ‘Dev Dol’. People believe that gods play ‘Abir’ among themselves. After Devdol, Choudhury family members and local people offer abhir at the feet of the deity. Then Abir played among themselves. This is the official start of the festival. However, there is no enthusiasm for color play around the swing.

Actually Amadpur is not very different from any other village in Bengal. Small and large ponds, rows of palm, coconut, palm trees, vast mango orchards, extensive paddy fields, nearly 400-year-old Chaudhuri homesteads in a green environment. Radhamadhavji Mandir (excellent terracotta work), Anandamayi Kalimata Temple, terracotta Shiv Mandir, Dighi, Rath, Durgabari, Bag Bari or Mukherjee Bari (crumbling but beautiful palatial house), Sadhubari Ashram with 100-year-old banyan trees, Baro Kali, Mezzo Kali, Khapa Kali Temple, Bangram Ashram, Santal Village, Tribal Dance and many more.
How to go :-
The distance from Kolkata to Amadpur is about 100 km. It takes about two hours to reach by road. You can also take a train from Howrah railway station to Memari. Amadpur can be reached by autorickshaw or toto from Memory station.

Apart from Dol Utsav, there are festivals like Rath Yatra, Durga Puja, Kali Puja and winter.
