অযোধ্যা দলমা পাহাড়ের একটি অংশ এবং পূর্বঘাট পর্বতমালার একটি সম্প্রসারিত অংশ। এই পাহাড়ের উচ্চতম শৃঙ্গটি হলো চেমটোবুরু। কাছের শহর বাঘমুন্ডি। পর্বতারোহণ শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছে একটি জনপ্রিয় গন্তব্যস্থল হলো অযোধ্যা পাহাড়। এই পাহাড়ের অন্যান্য শৃঙ্গের মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হলো গোরগাবুরু, ময়ুরি ইত্যাদি। ছোটনাগপুর মালভূমির সবচেয়ে নিচু ধাপ এই অঞ্চল। বাঘমুন্ডি বা অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ের আশেপাশের অঞ্চল হলো একটি সম্প্রসারিত মালভূমি। হিন্দু কিংবদন্তি অনুসারে, রাম ও সীতা বনবাসের সময় অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ে এসেছিলেন। এখানে এসে সীতার জল পিপাসা পেলে নিজের তীরের সাহায্যে মাটি খুঁড়ে জল বের করে আনেন রাম। সেই জায়গাটি সীতাকুণ্ড নামে পরিচিত। বৈশাখ মাসের পূর্ণিমা তিথিতে স্থানীয় আদিবাসীরা এখানে বন্য পশু শিকার উৎসবে যোগ দেয়। এই পাহাড়ে এলে প্রকৃতির অপরূপ সৌন্দর্যময় দৃশ্যের সাক্ষী থাকার পাশাপাশি হালকা ঠান্ডা আর মনমাতানো বাতাসে ভেসে বেড়াতে পারবেন। সেই সঙ্গে ঝর্ণার জল বয়ে যাওয়ার শব্দ আর রাতে ঝিঁ ঝিঁ পোকার ডাক ভিন্ন এক সুরের স্বাদ দেবে। আঁকা বাঁকা পরিস্কার চকচকে রাস্তা এবং তাঁর চারপাশে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা সারি সারি শাল গাছ অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ের প্রকৃতিকে আরও সুন্দর করেছে। ভালো লাগবেই।
অযোধ্যায় কি দেখবেন :-
ঝর্ণা, ড্যাম, পাহাড় থেকে সূর্যোদয় ও সূর্যাস্ত দেখুন। সেই সঙ্গে দেখুন একাধিক ধর্মীয় স্থান। বামনি ফলস্, ঠুড়গা ফলস্, পিটিতিরি ফলস্, মাছকাঁদা ফলস্, ঘাগেশ্বরি ফলস্, ছলছলি ফলস্ দেখার সঙ্গে দেখুন আপার ড্যাম,লোয়ার ড্যাম, লহরিয়া ড্যাম, ঠুড়গা ড্যাম, মুরগুমা ড্যাম,পারডি ড্যাম, কয়রাবেড়া ড্যাম। পাশাপাশি দেখুন ময়ূর পাহাড়, পাখি পাহাড়, মাঠাবুরু পাহাড়, চেমটোবুরু পাহাড়, লহরিয়া শিব মন্দির, কাঠের দূর্গা মন্দির, রাম মন্দির, সীতা কুন্ড। এছাড়াও দেখুন চড়িদা মুখোশ গ্রাম, মার্বেল লেক, উশুলডুংরি সানরাইজ পয়েন্ট, উকামবুরু সানসেট পয়েন্ট এবং কয়রাবেড়া, অযোধ্যা শিকার ময়দান, বাঁকা ডহর, পুরাতন জৈন মন্দির, ডাউরি খাল, ইত্যাদি। এসব দেখার পাশাপাশি পাহাড়ি গ্রামের অপরূপ শোভা দেখতে ভুল করবেন না। পাহাড় লাগোয়া বেগুনকোদর গ্রামটি খুবই সুন্দর। বেগুনকোদর রেলস্টেশন আছে। সন্ধ্যার পর গা ছমছমে অন্ধকারে ঢাকা সেই স্টেশন একা দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। স্থানীয়রা অনেকেই এই স্টেশনকে ‘ভূতের স্টেশন’ বলেন। যদিও পাহাড়ি গ্রামের সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে হলে এই স্টেশন থেকে প্রায় ৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে বেগুনকোদর গ্রামে যেতে হবে। এখানে প্রায় ৪০ বিঘা এলাকা জুড়ে রয়েছে রাজ্য পঞ্চায়েত দফতরের অধীন সংস্থা সামগ্রিক এলাকা উন্নয়ন পর্ষদের (সিএডিসি) বিশাল খামার। এই খামারে জৈবপদ্ধতিতে আনাজ, মৎস্যচাষ থেকে শুরু করে পশু-পাখি পালন করা হয়। এখানে ঘৃতকুমারী বা অ্যালোভেরা ও ড্রাগন ফলের চাষ দেখে নিশ্চিত ভাবেই মন ভালো হয়ে যাবে। খামারের মধ্যেই ন্যায্যমূল্যে থাকা ও খাওয়ার ব্যবস্থা আছে। বেগুনকোদর গ্রামের কাছেই অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ের কোলে রয়েছে মুরগুমা গ্রাম। এই গ্রামের পাশে সাহারজোড় নদীকে ভিত্তি করে তৈরি হয়েছে একটি সুন্দর জলাধার মুরগুমা ড্যাম। এই ড্যামের জলে পাহাড়ের ছবি ফুটে ওঠার চিত্র দেখুন। চারপাশে রয়েছে শাল, পিয়ালের জঙ্গল। শহুরে কোলাহলের বাইরে নির্জন মুরগুমা ড্যামের ধারে বসে থাকুন। সব ক্লান্তি ধুয়েমুছে যাবে। বেগুনকোদরের মতো অযোধ্যা হিলটপেও পঞ্চায়েত দফতরের অধীন সিএডিসি-র মনভোলানো অতিথিশালা আছে। এর চারপাশ জুড়ে রয়েছে বিশাল খামার। জৈবচাষের পাশাপাশি এখানে দেখতে পাবেন কড়কনাথ, বনরাজা মুরগি, টার্কি, এমু পাখি, রাজহাঁসের দল। আর এদের ছবি ক্যামেরাবন্দি করার ভিড়।
কিভাবে যাবেন :-
পুরুলিয়া জংশন বা বরাভূম স্টেশন থেকে সহজেই অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ে যাওয়া যাবে। বরাভূম থেকে কয়েক কিলোমিটারের মধ্যেই বাঘমুন্ডি গ্রাম। এই গ্রাম অযোধ্যা পাহাড়ে যাওয়ার একটি প্রবেশপথ। অথবা পুরুলিয়া স্টেশনে নেমে সেখান থেকে টোটোতে চলে যান পুরুলিয়া বাস স্ট্যান্ড। ওখান থেকে বাসে বা গাড়ি ভাড়া করে অযোধ্যা পাহাড়।
কোথায় থাকবেন :-
অযোধ্যা পাহাড় লাগোয়া বেগুনকোদর গ্রামে এবং অযোধ্যা হিলটপে পঞ্চায়েত দফতরের অধীন সংস্থা সিএডিসি-র অতিথিশালা রয়েছে। এছাড়াও অযোধ্যায় রয়েছে একাধিক হোটেল ও রিসোর্ট।
