ওয়েব ডেস্ক ঃ শাক্ত, শৈব, বৈষ্ণব ধর্ম ও সংস্কৃতির মিশেলে গড়ে ওঠা একাধিক মন্দির সমৃদ্ধ শহর নদিয়া জেলার শান্তিপুর এবং পাশের অঞ্চল ফুলিয়া তাঁতশিল্পের জন্য পরিচিত নাম। বাংলা ভাষায় রামায়ণ রচয়িতা মহাকবি কৃত্তিবাসের জন্মস্থান হিসেবেও সুপরিচিত ফুলিয়া। এই দুই এলাকাকে নিয়ে একটি পর্যটন অঞ্চল গড়ে ওঠার সম্ভাবনা থাকলেও সরকারি কোনও উদ্যোগ দেখা যায় না। যার ফলে কৃত্তিবাসের বসতবাড়ি নিয়েও চরম অবহেলা লক্ষ্য করা যায়। প্রসঙ্গত, ফুলিয়ার বয়রা গ্রামে জন্ম কৃত্তিবাস ওঝার। তিনি বাংলা ভাষায় রামায়ণ রচনা করেছিলেন। জানা যায়, এই গ্রামেই একটি বটগাছের তলায় বসে কৃত্তিবাসী রামায়ণ রচনা করেন তিনি। কৃত্তিবাসের বসতবাড়িতে তৈরি হয়েছে কৃত্তিবাস স্মৃতি সংগ্রহশালা এবং গ্রন্থাগার। ১৯৬৭ সালে চালু হয় এই গ্রন্থাগার। এখানে নানা বিষয়ের উপরে ১২ হাজারের বেশি বই রয়েছে। রয়েছে রামায়ণ সংক্রান্ত অনেক বইপত্র। এছাড়াও ইংরেজি, হিন্দি, মৈথিলী, লাওস, নেপালি-সহ ১৪টি ভাষায় অনুদিত রামায়ণ সাহিত্য সংরক্ষিত রয়েছে এখানে। রামায়ণ সংক্রান্ত নানা গবেষণাপত্র এবং প্রবন্ধের সংগ্রহও রয়েছে। উল্লেখ্য, এই সংগ্রহশালায় ফ্রান্সের একটি গ্রন্থাগার থেকে আনা পুঁথির মাইক্রোফিল্ম এবং প্রিন্ট আউট রক্ষিত রয়েছে। দাবি করা হয়, এই পুঁথিই কৃত্তিবাসের লেখা আসল পুঁথি।কৃত্তিবাসের ছবি ও তাঁর বংশতালিকাও রয়েছে এখানে। সাহিত্য ও ইতিহাসের বহু মূল্যবান সম্পদ এখানে সংরক্ষিত হলেও কৃত্তিবাস স্মৃতি সংগ্রহশালাকে ঘিরে পর্যটনের কোনও উদ্যোগ দেখা যায় না।যে গাছের নীচে বসে কৃত্তিবাস রামায়ণ রচনা করেন, সেই গাছের তল বাঁধানো হয়েছে, কিন্তু ঠিকমতো রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করা হয় না। এখানে কৃত্তিবাসের হাতে লেখা পুঁথি দেখতে চাইলে হতাশ হন মানুষ। জানা গিয়েছে, এই পুঁথি আনার জন্য ফ্রান্সের সঙ্গে ভারত সরকারকে কথা বলতে হবে। কৃত্তিবাস স্মৃতি সংগ্রহশালায় আসল পুঁথির একটি মাইক্রোফিল্ম করে রাখা আছে। সবমিলিয়ে পর্যটকপ্রেমী, গবেষক এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য এই সংগ্রহশালা মূল্যবান হয়ে উঠতে পারে বলেই মনে করেন অনেকেই। ফুলিয়ায় জাতীয় সড়কের পাশে বয়রা গ্রামে যাওয়ার পথের মুখে কৃত্তিবাসের স্মৃতিতে আগে তোরণ ছিল। ওটাই ছিল মহাকবির বসতবাড়ির ল্যান্ডমার্ক। কিন্তু জাতীয় সড়ক সম্প্রসারণের কারণে বছর দুয়েক আগে ভেঙে ফেলা হয় ওই তোরণ। এখনও তা তৈরি করেনি প্রশাসন। তবু তার মধ্যেও কৃত্তিবাস সম্পর্কে জানতে আগ্রহীরা খুঁজতে খুঁজতে পৌঁছে যায় ওখানে। অনেকে সঠিক দিশা না পেয়ে ইচ্ছে থাকলেও যেতে পারেন না। তাঁদের জন্য কৃত্তিবাস স্মৃতি সংগ্রহশালার সঙ্গে যুক্ত দুই ব্যক্তির নাম ও ফোন নাম্বার দেওয়া হলো। তরুণ সরকার-৯৪৭৪৭৯৩৫৯৪ এবং বানীব্রত ইন্দ্র – ৯৭৩৫৫৩৪৬৩৭

Phuliya is also well known as the birthplace of Krittivas, the author of Ramayana in Bengali language. Although there is a possibility of developing a tourist zone with these two areas, no government initiative is seen. As a result of which extreme neglect can be observed with the homestead of Krittivas. Incidentally, Kritivas Ojhar was born in Boyra village in Phuliya. He composed Ramayana in Bengali language. It is known that in this village he wrote Krittivasi Ramayana sitting under a banyan tree. The Krittivas Memorial Museum and Library has been built in the homestead of Krittivas. This library was opened in 1967. There are more than 12 thousand books on various subjects. There are many books related to Ramayana. Also, Ramayana literature translated into 14 languages including English, Hindi, Maithili, Laos, Nepali is preserved here. There are also collections of research papers and essays related to Ramayana. It may be noted that the microfilm and print out of the statue brought from a library in France are preserved in this museum. It is claimed that this doll is the original doll written by Krittivasa. Krittivasa’s picture and his genealogy are also here. Although many valuable treasures of literature and history are preserved here, there is no tourism initiative around the Krittivas Memorial Museum. The tree under which Krittivas composed the Ramayana has been planted, but not properly maintained. People are disappointed if they want to see the handwritten statue of Krittivas here. It is known that the Indian government has to talk to France to bring this doll. A microfilm of the original statue is kept at the Krittivas Memorial Museum. All in all, many think that this museum can become valuable for tourists, researchers and students. There used to be an arch in the memory of Krittivas at the mouth of the road to Boyra village along the national highway at Phuliya. That was the landmark of Mahakabi’s homestead. But the arch was demolished a couple of years ago due to the expansion of the national highway. The administration has not made it yet. However, those who are interested to know about Kritivas reach there. Many people can’t go even if they want to without getting the right direction.
